The Bike Account is a portal for Bicycle Network to track developments and change within cycling across Australia. It provides a big picture view of every local government area and how, over time, ABS data reveals trends. This enables people interested in bicycling to find a single authoritative source of information.

The project is fully automated and updated as new census data becomes available:

  • See local and state comparisons
  • Select unique combinations of government areas for comparison
  • Explore trends over time at multiple scales
